Prime Minister Modi will present 'Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award' in the field of science and technology today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi  will present the 'Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize' in the field of science and technology today.  The awards for the years 2016, 2017 and 2018 will be presented at the prestigious function to be held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.  After this he will also address the meeting.  Let us tell you that this award is given in the name of Dr. Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar, the founder director of the Indian Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).  Every year this award is given for the remarkable work done by scientists in various fields related to science and technology.

Death of stars, black holes and loud explosions… Humans will now be able to hear the universe along with seeing it, scientists are converting data into sound

Universe Sound:  We often think of astronomy as a visual science, with beautiful pictures of the Universe.  However, astronomers use a wide range of analysis tools beyond photographs to gain a deeper understanding of nature.  Data sonification is the process of converting data into sound.  It has powerful applications in research, education and other fields, and enables blind and visually impaired communities to understand plots, photographs and other data.  Its use as a tool in science is still in its infancy, but groups working in the field of astronomy are making great strides with it. A paper published in Nature Astronomy discusses the current state of data sonification in astronomy and other fields, provides an overview of 100 sonification-based projects, and explores its future directions. cocktail party effect Imagine the scene: You're at a crowded party where there's a lot of noise.  You don't know anyone and they are all speaking a language ...

Jupiter Picture: Jupiter came closest to Earth for the first time in 59 years, such a sight will not be seen in the next 107 years, see picture

Jupiter Picture:  As Jupiter moves around the Sun in its orbit, only at one point does it reach the opposite side of the Sun as seen from Earth.  This is the first time in 59 years on Monday, when Jupiter, the largest planet in the Solar System, was closest to Earth despite reaching that position.  It was just 59,06,29,248 kilometers away from the Earth.  Now such an incident will be seen after 107 years.  The next time the planet will come so close to the Earth in the year 2129, due to which this astronomical event that happened on Monday is being said to be amazing.   The planet, which takes more than 11 years to make a complete revolution around the Sun, was exactly opposite the Sun in its orbit, making it one of the brightest objects in the sky as seen from Earth.  Jupiter appeared bright in the sky with magnitude -2.9.  Earlier it was said that this planet with 53 moons would remain in the sky throughout the night.  The close...
